Cookie policy

Cookies are small pieces of text that a site asks your browser to keep and sends back with the next request. This site stores three of them, all needed for it to work, and two more only if you accept the notice at the bottom of the page. None of them is used to advertise to you or to follow you to other sites.

What is stored in any case

session_id

Keeps your session while you use the site. The booking form and the contact form need it: without it a submitted form is rejected. Set by Odoo, lives seven days, cannot be read by scripts in the page.

frontend_lang

Remembers which of the five languages you picked, so the next page opens in the same one. Set by Odoo, lives one year.

website_cookies_bar

Remembers your answer to the cookie notice - accepted, or only what is needed. Two things depend on it: the notice does not come back on every page, and the site knows whether it may load the statistics below. Set when you answer, lives 999 days.

What is stored only if you accept

Two cookies of Google Analytics, which counts visits: which pages are opened, in which order, roughly from which country, and which buttons are pressed. They appear when you press Accept and not a moment earlier - until then not a single request leaves this page for Google.

Tells one visitor from another: a random number, not your name and not your address. Set by Google Analytics, lives two years.

_ga_ and the container number

Keeps the state of the current visit: when it started and whether it is still going. Set by Google Analytics, lives two years.

What is not here

No advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking cookies. No shopping cart, because nothing is sold on this site. Nothing is sold to data brokers, and the visit statistics are not used to advertise to you anywhere.

Visits are also counted by Cloudflare, which serves this site and counts requests at the network level. That happens in front of the site, from the requests themselves: no script in the page, no cookie of its own, and nothing to agree to.

Your choice

The notice at the bottom of the page has two buttons, and they mean different things. Only what is needed leaves the site with the three cookies above and loads nothing from Google. Accept adds the two statistics cookies. Neither answer changes what the site does for you: everything works the same either way.

You can change your mind, and this is the page for it: here a button appears that opens the notice again, so an answer given once is not final. Your browser can also block or delete any of these cookies - look in its settings, under privacy or site data. Without session_id the booking and contact forms stop working; without frontend_lang the site forgets your language between visits.
